Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp organic extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 organic garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 large organic onion chopped
  • 8 cup water
  • 1/2 cup wild rice
  • 1 organic sweet potato chopped
  • 2 stalks organic celery
  • 2 organic carrots chopped
  • 4 small organic red skin potatoes sliced
  • 1/2 cup frozen organic peas
  • 1 1/2 tsp organic cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp organic allspice seasoning
  • 2 tsp Celtic sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp organic garlic powder
  • 2 tsp organic cumin powder
  • dash of organic cayenne powder
  • 1 red pepper diced
  • 1/2 cup cooked kidney or pinto beans

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

In the large pot sauté onion and garlic in the olive oil until they are slightly browned

Step 3

Bring to boil and simmer on low temp for 45 min

Step 2

Add water, wild rice, sweet potato, celery, carrots, potatoes, peas, cinnamon, allspice, celtic salt, garlic powder, cumin and cayenne.

Step 4

Add red pepper and kidney beans and simmer for additional 15 min
